It’s time to start thinking about getting organised for this years International excursion, WWPF 2015!
Every year on the beautiful West coast of Scotland, The Scottish Canoe Association organises with the Hydroelectric Company two dam release rivers, The River Moriston and River Garry. We will be paddling with a social group of paddlers that meets up every year. We are currently in the process of securing accommodation and arranging transportation for the event and require confirmed numbers for those who would like to attend this year. Limited spaces available! Paddling will be at a Grade 3 and option to run more difficult sections at a higher grade.
The plan is as follows:
Thursday 17th September: Fly to Edinburgh, overnight stay: To be organised.
Friday 18th September: Drive to Fort William. Paddling: Usually River Etive/Wherever there is water. Accommodation: Bunkhouse in Fort William.
Saturday 19th: Event Registration, Shuttle to River Moriston. Social event in the evening in Fort William.
Sunday 20th: Shuttle to River Garry.
Monday 21st: Drive to Edinburgh, Paddling wherever there is water along the way. Fly back to Norway.
